Help make AI education open to everyone
AI4Life is powered by people who show up — as mentors, partners, and champions for their communities. Here are the ways you can help right now, all of them free to join.
Give your time
Volunteer as a mentor
Our workshops run on volunteers — educators, engineers, students, and career changers who help kids and families build their first AI projects. No teaching background required; we provide the curriculum and training.
- Lead or assist at a weekend or after-school workshop
- Mentor students in the Youth AI Challenge
- Help translate or adapt materials for new communities
Open a door
Bring AI4Life to your school or nonprofit
We partner with schools, libraries, and community organizations to run free AI-literacy programs where they are needed most. Tell us about your community and we will design a program together — at no cost to your students.
- Free workshops for classrooms and after-school groups
- Support for special-education and neurodiverse learners
- Co-designed programs that fit your schedule and goals
Spread the word
Share our work
Not everyone can volunteer — but everyone can help more families find us. Try our free tools, tell an educator you know, or follow along as we publish new workshops and research.
- Explore Vibo, our free learn-by-making app
- Point a teacher or parent to our programs
- Follow our news for new workshops and openings
Every program we run is free for the families we serve. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 93-4651732), we keep AI education open by relying on volunteers and partners rather than tuition or ads.
