AI creativity at the Annual Inclusive STEM Expo

We built AllStar, a hands-on AI experience inside Vibo, for AllStars Learning, a Lexington nonprofit serving neurodiverse students — and ran it live at their Annual Inclusive STEM Expo at the Lexington Community Center, alongside partners like Youth Service America and Lexington SEPAC/SEPTA. Kids hatched a pet, then learned to write AI image prompts: first with word banks, then in their own words.

Pizza Kitchen game kitchen scene

Pizza Kitchen

Top a pizza with anything — tomato, pineapple… or a battery. A playful safety scanner explains what's safe to eat, then kids type their own topping and AI draws the pizza on the spot.

Pet Travel

Chat with ViboAI to dress your pet and pick a destination, then describe the scene in your own words. Postcards are generated live by Google's Nano Banana (Gemini) image model and handed over as a boarding pass with a QR code.

Every maker's prompt became a postcard, starring one of Vibo's first companion pets. Scroll through a few favorites from the day.

On the ground in Lexington

Kids hatched pets, wrote their first AI prompts, and took home a sticker of their companion — one of the first batch of Vibo pets.

Research recognition

AI Kitchen — accepted to CHI 2026

Our interactive experience prototyped on Vibo was accepted to the Posters track of CHI 2026, the premier human-computer interaction conference. AI Kitchen lets kids ages 8–12 "cook" an AI model, read a child-friendly label of what it can and can't do, and predict its mistakes before trusting it.
